Photographs capture memories

I’m a senior citizen , retired, veteran and I will be turning 69 soon so please allow me to give you a glimpse of a senior citizen's vision through my camera lens. I don’t have a specific area of photography that I want to specialize in but I find bird photography very interesting and quite challenging. My mind just needs to be stimulated and lugging around a camera definitely does the job.

I’m still hoping to get a spectacular and incredible shot. I do have a photo that I think is crazy cool . It’s my solar eclipse photo but that was an almost all day thing and I took a few hundred shots and crazy amount of editing.

So this website is about my journey as an ordinary man finding joy in ordinary things with the help of a camera. I hope my photographs bring you a little joy. It certainly keeps a happy smile on my face.

My ultimate goal is to improve the quality of my images. I know a lot of my images are soft but I’m noticing some improvements so I believe I’m on the right track. Understanding how light works in photography is much more challenging than I could ever imagine.
